The second international
underwater winemaking meeting

2023| Bilbao – Plentzia

Underwater Wine Congress

came about with the vocation of disseminating the virtues of a new winemaking process –one that is linked to marine sustainability– among wine, gastronomy and innovation lovers.

  • Underwater winemaking, or the art of producing wine under the sea, is the result of the visionary restlessness of those who foresaw a reality: underwater wines evolve differently to terrestrial ones.

The process breaks away from the basic principles of traditional oenology, creating wines that are chemically and organoleptically different.
