At Crusoe Treasure, we have spent 15 years exploring the magic of crafting extraordinary wines and ageing them beneath the wild Cantábrico Sea. We are the world’s first artificial underwater winery, a living reef where bottles rest, rocked by the currents, and where we create new wines every year to surprise customers around the world—not only with the quality of our wines, but also with the story of the winery, the packaging, the booklet that accompanies each bottle...
Under the direction of master winemaker Antonio T. Palacios, we select grapes from distinctive vineyards, mature them in barrels and then submerge them in our artificial reef winery, where they evolve in a unique environment.
This process brings a very special sensory complexity: the bottles are constantly in motion, underwater pressure is different, and the temperature is remarkably stable—all conditions that contribute to enhancing the wine’s quality in a way that cannot be achieved in a traditional winery.
