¿Por qué cada botella de vino Crusoe Treasure es distinta?

Why is every bottle of Crusoe Treasure wine different?

This is one of the questions we frequently get from those who acquire one of our treasures. Why is my bottle different from the one in the photo? Why isn't it inlaid? There's actually a group of people who find this fact very valuable.

 We give you an explanation

If upon receiving Your Crusoe Treasure bottle is more opaque , with inlays, because it has lived in a more protected area, surrounded by relative calm, where the small fish that live in the reef cellar hide.

If you receive a cleaner bottle It's because it has lived in an untamed location, subject to the fierceness of the Cantabrian Sea, which erodes it with such force and intensity that adhesions are more difficult. Only the strongest can survive and improve there.

And it is that Each bottle of Crusoe Treasure wine tells its own story . Each bottle is unique because of its underwater treasure collection process . No two are alike. And this, for us, is what adds value to our treasures.

What is the place where our wines are stored like?

Our underwater reef winery is located in the Bay of Plentzia, in a location chosen exclusively to achieve the best evolution of our wines under the sea.

The reef-cellar, made of steel and concrete structures—materials that helped create a home for many species—is located at a depth of 20 meters, in an area with strong currents and tides.

This home for the surrounding marine fauna and flora forms a habitat, taking advantage of the winery's exterior surface and interior spaces, thus accompanying the wine bottles, which are in contact with seawater and all its energy during their underwater process. Each bottle is located in a different area of the reef cellar , living its own story.

Each wine is unique.

And regardless of its location, what we have proven is that Crusoe Treasure wines achieve their maximum evolutionary expression during their underwater storage process.

Would you like to taste one of our treasures?
