Let’s celebrate World Wine Tourism Day

Ten years ago, the European Network of Wine Cities (RECEVIN) proposed the creation of a special day on the second Sunday of November to promote wine tourism and wine regions as generators of economic and cultural wealth, giving rise to the European Wine Tourism Day. However, in 2019 this celebration was also extended to a World scale and therefore, this year, 2021, World Wine Tourism Day will be held on 14 November.

Wine tourism has become a rather promising tool to promote the practice of responsible and sustainable tourism, thanks to its firm commitment to development in rural areas and sustainability, by providing greater value and employment in many regions of the world. We certainly believe that there is no better way to get to know the richness of a place and learn from it, than to experience it through contact with its inhabitants, their customs and gastronomy. This is something that wine tourism manages to unite with great success.

Crusoe Treasure Gift Voucher

The Crusoe Treasure Gift Voucher can be redeemed with all the products in our shop, whether they are underwater wines, accessories (hammer), or wine tourism experiences. This online Gift Voucher/Card consists of a digital document that is sent directly to the email address of the person you wish to congratulate. It has an expiry date of 1 year and a half from the time of purchase and can be used as many times as you like until the balance is used up.

 

Tasting at the origins

This is a private experience for small groups of maximum 4 people, where you can taste the underwater wines with one of the founding members while we explain the origin and history of our winery.

 

 

 

Compared Wine Tasting

If, on the other hand, you would like to discover the influence of the sea on our wines, we propose a comparative tasting (1 underwater reference) of the same wine treasured under the sea and aged on land. It also includes an introduction to the winery’s origins and our wine making process.

 

Virtual Wine Tasting

If you have ever purchased any of our underwater wines and would like to enjoy a different experience from the comfort of your own home, you can request a personalised or automated virtual wine tasting with our team of professionals.
